James Hollingshead and Jamie Christian-Johal a few days before the Arnold Classic UK 2022

British professional bodybuilder, James Hollingshead, will attempt to qualify for the Mr. Olympia competition to be held in Las Vegas during December this weekend. James will be competing at the Arnold Classic UK 2022, which was supposed to feature our pro Josef Kveton, but he declined to participate. He subsequently told our interviewer why he didn't want to take part.

The Arnold Sports Festival UK will take place on 23-25 September at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre and James is making it clear that he's going for the win!

Put yourself first. Don't keep thinking about everyone else. Life is too short. Focus on being the best. If it gets you a golden ticket to the Olympics or a medal or an award - nice. But if it doesn't, don't let it dictate how you should feel. Don't let it take away from your own satisfaction or your own efforts.

However, another Briton, Jamie Christian-Johal, would also like to secure his direct qualification to the Olympics. Two weeks ago we saw him at the Yamamoto Cup in Italy, where he took fourth place and earned two points in the qualification system for Mr. Olympia.
