Jakub Enžl will not compete at EVLS Prague Amateur 2022!

As you know, Jakub Enžl was preparing for his first competition and many of us were looking forward to see Jakub's form at EVLS Prague Amateur 2022. We have been charting his preparation, but now unfortunately we have some bad news. Jakub shared on his Instagram last week that he's been having health problems and has been living on broth, liquids and pastries. Somewhere in the back of our minds we were all hoping that things would get better and Kuba would take his great form to the boards. Today, he issued a statement on his social media that due to his ongoing health problems, he really won't be participating after all. "I don't have good news. As I mentioned on the stories, on Sunday I was hit quite hard by indigestion, after which I had no food or water left in me, but I told myself that there is still plenty of time before the race, I went on a fast and hoped that it would be fixed in 1-2 days, unfortunately it didn't happen and the same style of the whole week. I just laid at home, had no movement, mainly replenished fluids, electrolytes and ate little things like chicken broth, a piece of bread, biscuits and some medication to boot. I know it would be unwise to break it over my knee and go racing at all costs, so I decided to prioritize my health. I'm sorry to you too, I didn't want to let you down, you kept me going all the way and even when I had the finish line in my sights, it went to shit (literally).

Anyway, I know a lot of you have bought tickets, so I'll definitely be at EVLS at least as a spectator and mostly to see you, so don't be afraid to come by for a photo, to chat, whatever, I'll be there for you that day!
