Iranian Hulk tried to beat up Martyn Ford outside a hotel in Dubai

Although the fight between Martyn Ford and the Iranian Hulk has been postponed and no one knows if it will ever take place again, there are still many curiosities surrounding the situation. Ford even spoke to the British website Mirror recently about one of them.

As Martyn dined with his wife in Dubai to celebrate their anniversary, Sajad Gharibi (the Iranian Hulk) and his cronies appeared outside the hotel and waited for Ford to emerge from the hotel so they could confront him.

However, Martyn explained why he didn't go to confront the Iranian and what was going through his mind at the time.

"I was on a private holiday with my wife, we flew away for a few days. I just don't want to fight on the streets of Dubai. Sajad just wanted to look strong in front of all his people. There were about six guys there and he was standing outside my hotel waiting for me to come out. That sums up the whole event for me. It was an absolute joke. Honestly if you want to fight professionally and stand out like that when I'm out there with my wife, that's not boxing.

I can understand being angry and frustrated. What's the point of going out and meeting him and six guys in Dubai? What's gonna happen? Worst-case scenario, I get hit by seven guys. Best case scenario, I take out all seven guys and get arrested. I'm a 40-year-old man, I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to fight in the street, I don't want to be seen as a street thug who beats up loiterers in Dubai and never be able to go back there because I'll have a criminal record." Ford revealed

Gharibi even shot a video of him standing outside the Dubai hotel where Ford was at the time, which he laughs at for being a coward who hides behind women.
