Interview with Robert Humpál and bikini Nicole Vachová about cooperation with EVLS team
Author: Last week you could see on our website a very interesting information about the cooperation between Nicola Vachová, Robert Humpál and the professional EVLS team. And in this interview, Robert and Nicola will give us an outline of how the cooperation between them and the EVLS team will work and how it is developing so far. Sit back and enjoy the interview.
Hi Nicola and Robert, first of all we would like to congratulate you on behalf of our whole team for your transfer to the NPC Federation and for becoming a member of the EVLS team.
Thank you very much, it's a real achievement.
When did you first get the offer to work with us? What was going through your mind at that moment?
Nicola: The first praise for my form and congratulations came after the Czech championships, where I took 1st place in the bikini category. The second impulse came at the Czech Championships, when I got the opportunity from EVLS to shoot my competition form with Pepa Adlt and based on the photos I was selected from several bikinis to be the first amateur competitor in the EVLS team. After a personal meeting (which took place at DC Prague), we had an idea of cooperation and of course we were very excited and pleased!
Did you have any idea what it was going to be?
We had an idea of what a prestigious team it was, and I have to say that at first I couldn't even believe it. Moreover, EVLS was interested not only in me but also in Robert (my coach) and they wanted both of us. We were even more pleased with the offer and we really had something to think about.
How will your cooperation work and how do EVLS representatives take care of you?
Nicola: As far as I'm concerned, it's obvious - transfer to the NPC federation and compete in the bikini fitness category under the auspices of the EVLS team. I can't wait!
Robert: We're just at the beginning of our collaboration so we don't quite know the details yet, but for now we know that we have a well-equipped, private gym, always catered food according to our regime and of course support for Nicola regarding competitions.
When you compare the different federations by level (quality) of athletes, where does the NPC stand among them?
Robert: NPC stands at the very top. The quality and preparedness of the competitors is several levels higher in the NPC than it is in the IFBB. And of course there is only one way to the Olympia and that is the NPC federation. I think this is the big dream of every competitor.
Nicola. Exactly, and for me it's a huge challenge to push my form to a better level again.
It's definitely a big challenge for you, are you not too worried about whether you can achieve the goals that are expected of you?
Nicola: Not at all. If I had to worry every time, I wouldn't be able to compete in this sport. For me, it means one thing - to keep working as hard as ever and to go for my new goal. And honestly, the only opponent on the podium is yourself. It's a battle of YOU VS. YOU, only you can come out better than the others, not counting on the others to be worse...
Robert: We're definitely not afraid of the challenge, but rather looking forward to it. It's a motivation to keep working. You get exactly what you sacrifice and you can expect results. We will try to achieve the best possible results as we have done so far and we are very happy that someone appreciates it and likes our work and the approach we take to differentiate ourselves from others and what we present on social media. Cooperation is not only about the result at the competition, but also about the overall approach and presentation of the sport.

Will you still compete in the same category or will you change it?
Nicola: Yes, we are staying with the bikini category.
Do you have a race picked out yet?
Both: It's too early to tell at the moment. It's only been a few weeks since the end of the racing season and there are a few stages to go through now before it's at the stage of picking races for the next racing season. We have an idea to race in the fall of 2022, but we can't say how everything will go this far in advance. At the moment we are concentrating on working for the whole EVLS team and waiting for instructions.
Have you met any other members of the EVLS team yet?
Only in a sketchy way so far, but of course we know the team members well, especially from social media and also from their great competition achievements. We've dealt mostly with the management, which we feel good about, and the atmosphere of the whole team feels good to us. We have been well looked after at every meeting including food, facilities and training.
Which team members are you most looking forward to?
All of them without exception. There are plans for team building, where we will get to know everyone and get to know each other better. To give you an idea, who wouldn't look forward to a dinner with Pavel Beran, Jan Turek, Lukáš Osladil, Pavel Szotkowski and Margita Zámolová. I think that just sitting in this company of people who take this sport equally seriously and with great passion is an honour.
