International strongman competitions again in Czech Republic - European Ultimate Strongman Championship u105kg!

Another international strongman competition in the Czech Republic? Yes, it really is so... 11.8.2019 from 14.00 in Přerov in Park Michalov will be held international strongman competition of middle weights called European Ultimate Strongman Championship u105kg 2019! One of the organizers of this competition is Jirka Tkadlcik, who recently became theEuropean Champion in the Official Strongman Association.

Jirka commented on the upcoming competition as follows:

I am very happy that we have the opportunity to organize a competition of similar size again thanks to the World Ultimate Strongman Association, and although we thought about different options, this year I decided to choose my hometown Přerov, where I have a great support together with the Olomouc region.

Disciplines + Schedule

14:00 - Opening ceremony

14:15 - Super yoke 410kg / 15m, take back 130kg sandbag and unload on the table (1.2m)

15:15 - One arm max. Starting weight is 90kg, will gradually build up to 100, 110, 115 and 122kg until the last successful competitor remains.

"122kg is the Czech all time record across the weight classes and I hope to break it here!" Tkadlcik explains.

16:15 - Deadlift medley: 300kg axle bar, 320kg Texas bar, 340kg elephant bar

17:00 - Super medley: atlas 130kg unload on table (1.2m), trunks 135kg on 15m, hussafel 145kg on 15m, deadlift 285kg / 1 rep,loglift 135kg / 1 rep

18:00 - Viking press 160kg in discus / reps per minute

18:45 - Ceremonial announcement

Competitors

I originally had up to 15 competitors lined up, unfortunately the season is very long this year and there are so many races on the calendar that not everyone we approached can come. From the original list of the best 25 strongmen in Europe (u105kg), I had almost 10 people refused, because of injuries, because of the great difficulty and so on", says Tkadlcik, and adds. We will have four competitors from the Czech Republic, 8 more from Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Finland, Sweden, England and other strongman superpowers. It won't be easy!
