Indy Pro 2019 - Kuclo defended his Open title, Dixon absolutely destroyed in 212!
The second edition of the Indy Pro competition took place yesterday in Indianapolis, where both the representatives of the Open category and their colleagues from the category up to 212 pounds fought.
In both categories, the biggest favorites were last year's winners, Steve Kuclo in Open and Charles Dixon in 212. How did they, and not only them, fare? That's what the following lines are about.
Open category:
There were eleven competitors on the podium, and as mentioned above, the biggest favourite for the triumph was last year's winner Steve Kuclo.
However, much was also expected from the trio of Luis Rodriguez, Luke Sandoe and Akim Williams. It was then awaited with great interest to see what form Hassan Mostafa would bring for his debut
It was no surprise then when all five of the aforementioned fighters were immediately selected by the judges for the first semi-final comparison, in which they were joined by Dorian Haywood.

Semi-final comparisons in the Open category:
Steve Kuclo deservedly won his fifth professional victory. The symmetrical fighter benefited from the fullness of his muscles and their maturity.
The second place went to Akim Williams, who possesses a lot of muscle mass and seems to have finally found the recipe for obtaining a decent final readiness, which was a big problem for him in previous seasons.
Even now he had some deficiencies in the back, especially in terms of detail and hardness.
Hassan Mostafa took an excellent third place on his professional debut. He too possesses respectable volumes, but was unable to bring the necessary final readiness, which is a great pity indeed!
In fourth place was the third man in this year's Arnold Classic, Luke Sandoe. The fighter with a very appealing shape is already suffering from a long period of competition, when his body shows significant signs of fatigue and is thus unable to offer optimal form, and he also has already had problems with abdominal muscle control.
Luis Rodriguez managed to break into the Top 5, just like last year.

Categories up to 212 pounds
Fifteen fighters were in the under 212lb category, with last year's winner Charles Dixon the biggest favourite.
However, in addition to him, Aaron Polites and pro rookie Noel Adame were also on the podium. It was the latter who surprised everyone present with his form and professionalism when moving on stage.
At the request of the judges, all three of the above mentioned fighters stood next to each other immediately in the first semi-final comparison, where they were joined by Dwayne Walker, Enrico Hoffmann, Errol Moor.
Semi-final comparisons in the category up to 212 lbs:
And this is where the ice began to break!
Last year's winner Dixon posed in the middle of the line, but after a while the judges let him be replaced by Adam! He had a real chance to win his professional debut!
And so it happened! Noel Adame, who headed among the elite after his absolute victory at last year's Mexico Supershow Pro Qualifier, took the win on his debut in the pro division!
This was due not only to his fantastic form, but also to his excellent movement on stage and a great "WOW" effect.
Aaron Polites earned second place from the judges . He also put together a very decent form for this event.
Another debutant on the stage of this competition was Enrico Hoffmann, who came for an excellent third place.
Fourth place went to Fahad Zaid, followed by Errol Mooreand Dwayne Walker,
Charles Dixon didn't even make the top 6 and had to settle for seventh!
