"If you're a bodybuilder, you're risking your life," Kali Muscle warns against performance-enhancing substances
During the past year , famous bodybuilder Chuck "Kali Muscle" Kirkendall suffered a heart attack, for which he had to be hospitalized for some time. As a result of this incident, Chuck's conscience was stirred and he decided to speak publicly on his YouTube channel about his experiences with banned performance enhancing substances. Obviously, the video that Kali made will have a really big impact and may affect a lot of young exercisers who are considering or already using banned substances.

There are currently around 2.5 million fans following Chuck on YouTube, so it's clear that anything he says will affect a really large mass of fitness enthusiasts.
"Don't take insulin if you're a bodybuilder, you're risking your life. Quite a few bodybuilders die because if they don't get that sugar boost, they just go 'oh, I'm going to sleep', they go to sleep and they die. Leave that stuff alone. I've had a heart attack and I survived it. I'd be a fool and an idiot if I didn't share my experience with you."
Kali goes on to explain in the video that he spent several hours a day studying anabolic steroid use and even experimented himself.
"I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I had no advisor, the guys I knew were amateurs who were also guessing."
