"I look bigger than ever," Martyn Ford showed his current form
Author: A very curious boxing match between Iran's Hulk and Martyn Ford was supposed to take place last weekend. Although the bout was originally scheduled for early April, the fighters were not scheduled to fight until April 30, which unfortunately turned out to be the case.
At first everyone thought that "Hulk" had pulled out of the fight, but it turned out that the fight would be postponed because of Ford, as he was afraid of hurting the Iranian.
"Naturally I am very disappointed that my fight against the Iranian Hulk will no longer go ahead, especially considering the fact that I have dedicated so much time to my training program and done everything I can to be in the best shape possible.
Although I will no longer be involved, I am now looking forward to attending the Boxstar Celebrity Boxing event as a fan and showing my full support to those brave competitors taking part, some of whom will be competing in a boxing match for the first time in their lives. I would like to thank my fans for their continued support and hope to return to the ring in a competitive nature as soon as possible."
And before long, Ford explained why he didn't fight Hulk:
"Concerns for my mental wellbeing and also the health and safety risks associated with this fight.
They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Let's just say that what transpired is NOT what the investors sold us. Crying at the TV followed, saying he wanted to end his life. That was enough for us."
So although the fight didn't go ahead, Ford made the most of his preparation and even lost almost 30kg! He also confided that he feels young again, which he credits to his preparation for the match. He himself wrote in a recent post that he is even much bigger, despite not working out and building muscle mass.
Imagine this, since October I'm quitting all forms of bodybuilding, switching to boxing and training martial arts, I end up looking BIGGER than ever. My body is definitely not functioning normally.
What do you think of Ford's current form? And do you think a fight between him and Hulk will ever happen again?
