Hunter Labrada, Luis Rodriguez, Ahmad Ashkanani and other fighters before Olympia Weekend 2020
Hunter Labrada, Luis Rodriguez, Ahmad Ashkanani, Oleh Kryvyi and Derik Oslan are among the few fighters who managed to qualify for this year's Olympia Weekend. The Olympia Weekend, as you already know from us, will take place unconventionally now in December, in Florida.
The reason for this is, as we have all surely already found out, the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, which has even closed all of our domestic fitness centers twice this year. Fortunately for us, those are reopening on Thursday, December 3.
In Florida, the fighters will compete in the Mr. Olympia events, designed for heavyweights in the Open category, and the Olympia 212 Showdown, where their lighter counterparts in the 212-pound division compete.
We take a look below at the current form of representatives from both of these events.
Mr. Olympia 2020
A total of 22 fighters have qualified for the royal event, but we already know that there will be significantly fewer on the podium! James "Flex" Lewis, Cedric McMillan, James Hollingshead, Rafael Brandao and Nathan DeAsha have all cancelled their participation for various reasons. As for the European fighters, including our Lukáš Osladil, it is still unknown whether they will be allowed to enter the USA at all.
Hunter Labrada
Hunter Labrada, the son of two-time Mr. Olympia silver medalist Lee Labrada from 1989 and 1990, is about to participate in Mr. Olympia for the first time.
This well-built fighter earned the right to participate in the Olympia Weekend on August 1, when he dominated the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2020 without the slightest hesitation in his debut among the elite!
Below you can see his great form about 4 weeks before the competition.
Luis Rodriguez
American bodybuilder Luis Rodriguez is preparing for his second participation in Mr. Olympia. The second man of the New York Pro 2020 and Wings of Strength Chicago 2020 competitions would like to improve on the 16th place he finished in 2018.
Luis offers his form about 3 weeks before the competition.

Olympia 212 Showdown
Ahmad Ashkanani
The Kuwaiti pro is set to make his fifth consecutive start at the Olympia 212 Showdown. As he has always been able to break into the top 5, he is clearly one of the biggest favourites for the top spot!
He also recorded his form about 3 weeks before his entry on the podium.
Oleh Kryvyi
Ukrainian bodybuilder Oleh Kryvyi is preparing for his second start among the best of the best in the 212lb division. At last year's Olympia 212 Showdown, he finished a respectable 13th place, which he would like to improve on this year.
He qualified to compete in the top competition at the 2020 Europa Pro Championships, where he took 2nd place.
3 weeks before the competition he had the following phase.
Derik Oslan
The last fighter to show us his current form today in preparation for the Olympia Weekend is American bodybuilder Derik Oslan.
He has earned his debut participation in the Olympia 212 Showdown thanks to the sufficient number of points he has accumulated in the qualifying rankings.
You can see his form during the 4 to 3 weeks leading up to the contest in the attached photos.
