Hunter Labrada is turning up the volume for the upcoming season!

American bodybuilder Hunter Labrada, son of two-time Mr. Olympia silver medalist Lee Labrada from 1989 and 1990, not only made his debut among the elite last year, which he topped with a victory, but also took part in Mr. Olympia, where he finished in a very respectable 8th place!

He would like to compete in Mr. Olympia, the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world, this year too! For that he needs to qualify, either to win one of the competitions this season again or to try to collect enough points for the qualification ranking.

Hunter only takes the first option, i.e. winning. He says he could enter the season in about 20 weeks. Since his rest period just ended, he has those 20 weeks for both the volume and pre-contest portion of his preparation.

You can judge what kind of form he is in at the very end of the rest phase by looking at the attached pictures, to which he adds:

This is my starting point after finishing the rest phase. I'm roughly 20 weeks away from competition (don't ask me what competitions I have selected, there is no specific competition) and I couldn't be happier with the form I'm starting with.

My body feels very rested, mentally I'm doing very well. Fasting weight this morning: 263 lbs.
