Giant Mamdouh Elssbiay showed up on stage!

One of the greatest bodybuilders in the history of "Big Rama" Mamdouh Elssbiay unfortunately did not compete this year due to health problems with his shoulder, so he did not earn the opportunity to compete at the biggest feast of this sport, the Mr. Olympia competition.

Even so, in recent weeks, when the problems have subsided, he has stated that he has been training and eating as if he was going to compete at the Olympia Weekend. He then proved his point this past Saturday in New York City, where he had an exhibition performance as part of the NPC Victor Martinez Legends Championships amateur competition.

Is he hoping to receive a wild card from Olympia organizers? That seems unlikely.
Much more likely is the fact that "Big Ramy" would be competing in one of the fall events to try to qualify for Mr. Olympia in 2020.
In that case, he would have almost a full season to prepare well, and could aim for the top ranks!
