Flex Wheeler is still in the hospital after shoulder surgery!

Among the greatest legends of our sport is the former professional bodybuilder Flex Wheeler. But he must have imagined a peaceful retirement in a different way than the one he is currently experiencing. This October marks two years since Flex had his leg amputated. As harrowing as this news may sound for Flex, it was in part a liberation, as he was in excruciating pain due to the hardening of his arteries.

Even though Flex was able to deal with this problem proficiently, he recently had to undergo repeat rotator cuff surgery, which did not go as he had hoped...

AGAIN left shoulder surgery... rotator cuff surgery. It was supposed to be an outpatient procedure. But they can't get my pain under control so I'm still lying here in the hospital. Jesus, the amount of pain I'm experiencing and the amount of pain I've gone through over the years is really just mind bending.

Three days ago, Wheeler posted on his social media that he was still in the hospital and that he didn't know how much longer I would have to be there. He wrote his feelings under the post.

I can basically do all my work, conference calls, emails, texts and faxes. Basically everything I need to do to keep working.
