Flex Lewis and Rafael Brandao at a joint back training session

Rafael Brandao is the Brazilian bodybuilder we were supposed to see last weekend at the Arnold Classic 2022. But Rafael cancelled his participation and we will see his form at the Arnold Classic South America 2022 show, which will take place on April 22-24.

And just ten weeks before the competition, the Brazilian joined Flex Lewis at the Dragon's Lair gym in Las Vegas, Nevada for a back workout. At the beginning of the video, Flex said that training with young fighters like Rafael and Dominick Cardone keeps him on his toes and helps him push his limits. With that, the trio headed to a section of the gym called The Astronaut's Showroom.

Flex Lewis won the 2012 Mr. Olympia titles from 2012 to 2018 and has not raced professionally since his last win. He is also the only professional bodybuilder to win the prestigious title at Mr. Olympia 212 seven times.

Recently, Dan Solomon and Jake Wood visited Flex and while the purpose of the visit is unknown, there is room to believe that Lewis may have received an official invitation from them to compete at the 2022 Olympia. We'll see if we'll see this legendary bodybuilder on the competition boards again.
