William Bonac is taking a break from the 2023 bodybuilding season to focus on the 2024 Arnold Classic!

William Bonac will be retiring from bodybuilding for a few months. After finishing seventh at the 2023 Arnold Classic, Bonac took a break from the season to focus on family and business outside of the sport. Last year (2022), Bonac was looking to solidify his position as a three-time Arnold Classic winner. Despite coming in with some of his best form, he couldn't overcome Curry. Bonac had no time to waste, so he returned a week later for the 2022 Boston Pro and took first place. That guaranteed him a spot in the Olympia contest last December, where he dropped to ninth place. In "The Conqueror's" last bodybuilding contest, he took seventh place in a packed field at the 2023 Arnold Classic, won by Samson Dauda. Unlike last year, it appears that Bonac is not expecting a quick turnaround at his next bodybuilding contest, so it may indeed be time to rest.

"So it was a long season for me!!
*2018 first attempt first place
*2019 second attempt second place
*2020 third attempt first place
*2021 fourth attempt I missed due to two travel restrictions in two weeks.
*2022 fifth attempt second place
*2023 sixth attempt 7th placeI can honestly say I won't miss dieting for a while.
Time to focus on family & other things besides bodybuilding.
See you next year in Columbus, Ohio.
I'll be back!!!"
