Will Ales Lamka quit the Olympia because he is not up to it?

As you know from our articles, Ales Lamka is trying to win a professional card in the NPC federation for the second year. Last year he failed, so he is trying his luck again this year. Last month Ales competed at the Champions Cup Pro Qualifier 2023, where he did not do badly, but it was not enough to get a pro card. On 11.6.2023 Lamka tried to become a pro again, this time at the FA Battle of Champions Pro Qualifier 2023, but again he could not impress the judges enough to make it happen. In the battle for the overall win, Lamka placed behind second place André Gerstner of Germany.

During the end of June Ales Lamka took part in the last races of this year. He took to the race boards in Milan, where he again failed to meet his goal and did not get his pro card this year. He summed it all up on his social media as follows:

Yay gold!!!! Or not..
I finished fourth in Italy.
I did my best for my form. I think I looked the sharpest and best I've looked in recent races. The results don't really match my expectations.

I'm very bummed to end the season and go into the off phase, to give my body and head a rest.

I'm sorry to everyone I let down..
Will the Road to Olympia continue? I honestly don't know. I don't think I'm really up to it.
