Vitaly Ugolnik has been denied entry to the European continent!

Russian bodybuilder Vitaly Ugolnikov, who has been training and living in Brazil for some time now, was supposed to make his debut among professionals in mid-September, where he headed at the end of last November after his absolute victory at the Musclecontest Nacional Pro Qualifier.

However, as he recently reported on his Instagram, he was denied a European visa.

"Friends, I'll share the news with you. The bad news is that I have been denied a European visa and will not be able to compete in competitions in Italy and Spain.

The good news is that I have received the visa I need to travel to the USA, so I am still preparing to qualify for this year's Mr. Olympia! The US visa will allow me to choose any competition this year, so I am currently adjusting my goal. My goal is to qualify for Mr. Olympia this year, and I'm not giving up!

I don't have time to complain though! In 15 to 17 days my beloved wife will give birth to our son, and so my hope has dawned on me that our Lord wants me to see his birth, and support my wife in this difficult time for her.

I promise everyone who supports me that I will do my best to win this year!"
