Ronnie Coleman is battling a serious blood infection, but he's not losing his optimism
As we previously reported in this article, the eight-time Mr. Olympia has been admitted to the hospital with serious health complications. Coleman confirmed that the reason for his hospitalization is a "serious bloodstream infection" that he has been battling in the hospital for several days. He also admitted that there was a "minor complication", but did not elaborate.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, however, Ronnie has not lost his typical fighting spirit. He sent his fans a message full of determination and optimism, which is so characteristic of him.
"As they say, nothing can stop a good man," he wrote alongside his photo. "I hope to get out of here soon. Thank you all for your prayers. As always, it's time for 'Yeah Buddy!'"

The situation is another tough test in a long line of health battles Coleman has faced as a result of his storied career filled with extremely tough workouts. Although he has found relief from chronic pain in recent years through stem cell treatments, his body is still under great strain.
The entire fitness community is anxiously monitoring his condition and sending him an endless wave of support. Fingers crossed, Ronnie!
