Nick Walker won't compete at the 2024 Arnold Classic and says he "deserves" a special invitation to the next Olympia

After Derek Lunsford defeated Hadi Choopan to win the Mr. Olympia 2023 title, Nick Walker is planning his plans for the future. In a recent YouTube video, Walker revealed that he won't be competing at the upcoming Arnold Classic in March, reflected on his injury and explained why he deserves a special invitation to Mr. Olympia 2024.
"Once I win the Olympia, maybe I'll come back then, but I'm focusing on the Olympia," Walker shared his feelings.
No one could have predicted how Olympia would turn out last week. A pair of unforeseen events shook the community before the main competition on Friday and the night of Saturday into Sunday. First, 2022 Olympia third man Nick Walker announced that he was withdrawing from the competition after suffering a serious hamstring tear during training.
Then, Brandon Curry, the former Mr. Olympia winner, was rushed to the hospital for ulcer problems. He missed the press conference and his participation was jeopardized until a few hours before taking the stage. It now appears that the Arnold Classic will have to go on without Walker.
