Nick Walker on Rubiel 'Neckzilla' Mosquera: "I'm a fan of his, I think he's amazing!"

Rubiel Mosquera's entry into the IFBB professional league was known for his massive neck and quadriceps and was full of excitement. Coming from a competitive federation, Mosquera followed a similar path to Michal Krizanek, who switched to the NPC before quickly earning his pro card.

The day after winning the EVLS Prague Pro Amateur, "Neckzilla" bet on himself on his way to his first pro show. Although he finished third at EVLS Prague Pro 2023, he made his debut known by holding his own against Michal Krizanek and the third place finisher at Olympia 2023, Samson Dauda.

"Rubiel! He doesn't speak English [for the podcast]."

"I talked to Chris about him. He doesn't speak much English," Walker says. "Yeah, that's him, bro."

"Jeff King was Neckzilla," says Jose Raymond.

Watching "Neckzilla" on stage, Walker acknowledged that he has strong side poses.

"Damn!" Walker said. "He's made a huge improvement. Look at his face."

"This looks better [his lateral triceps pose]. That one looks good. Samson's not in it, but I also think it's Samson's weakest pose."

"This is a good pose for him [side chest pose].

While Walker appreciates Mosquera's physique, he thinks Nathan De Asha deserved to be in Prague before him.

"Like I said, I'm a fan of his, I think he's amazing," Walker shared his feelings. "Yeah, I'm surprised he beat Nathan, but."
