Neil Currey tragically died at the age of 34

Neil Currey, a Classic Physique division competitor, has left us at the age of 34. According to reports shared by former professional competitors Milos Sarcev and Nick Trigili, the British bodybuilder decided to end his life at the age of thirty-four.

Neil Currey first stepped into the world of IFBB competitions in 2019, and scored his only win in 2022. The same year he made his debut at the prestigious Olympia.

Originally from the UK, Neil Currey's passion for fitness began to take shape at an early age. He found it at school, where he fell in love with football and started working out with weights. As time passed, Currey began to focus more and more on his exercise regime and eating habits, which eventually led him to a successful career in bodybuilding.

Neil Currey began his bodybuilding career during the 2017 World Championships, where he placed fifth. A year later, he moved on to NPC competition level and won the NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Italy, which secured his professional status.

Currey later began competing in the Classic Physique division and made his debut in 2019 with a seventh-place finish at the Kuwait Pro. He has shined at various prestigious competitions, including the Tampa and Pittsburgh Pro. His biggest triumph was winning the New York Pro in 2022, which opened the door to his first Olympia.

Neil Currey made the podium at the 2022 Olympia, where he placed 16th in the Classic Physique division.
