My dream has come true!

I can't believe I'm writing this article, but here we are and I'm so grateful to be able to write that my big dream has come true - getting a pro card in the wellness fitness category. So I am officially the second pro wellness lady in the Czech Republic, which is a great honor for me.

On the first of June I took part in the Olympia Amateur competition in Alicante, Spain. The week before these competitions was different for me than the previous ones, I felt better. I felt like I was flying somewhere for a holiday, as it was my first competition somewhere by the sea. A lot of the stress that I was holding in before came off and I felt that this competition was going to be different, and it was.

Compared to Sweden and Poland, I had lower expectations from the result and I focused more on putting myself more at ease, and that showed a lot in how I felt on the actual day of the competition on the stage afterwards. I tried not to put so much pressure on myself and let things flow more. It's not for nothing that they say our mind is the most powerful weapon and whoever learns to control it wins.

We flew to Alicante on Friday, which was also the registration day for the competitors. The competition was divided into two days, Saturday and Sunday. I competed in the last category on Sunday, so it was quite a long wait, but it was worth it. On the day of the competition, I felt a little insecure especially backstage when I saw my competitors, but luckily my boyfriend, who is also my coach, reassured me that it's not always about how big I am or how brutal my form is, but it's all about pleasing the judges.

Fortunately, I calmed down a lot before the podium and I was mainly thinking that I wanted to enjoy this last race of my season and do better than last time. Steve Weinberger, who was also on the EVLS panel where I won, was on the judging panel and that put me at ease. Steve is known for often favoring femininity at competitions in women's categories that are not extremely muscular.

When I managed to win my height category, I was very happy because the win was very valuable to me at the time given my previous results where I had come third twice. And once the pro card game ensued, which there were three for our category, I was confident, but I went in with a lot of humility that I could even be standing there. As soon as they announced my name I was overwhelmed with an indescribable feeling of gratitude and I couldn't believe what had just happened. It all fell into place and a big dream came true!
