Juricek from Olympia: TOP 20 is a success, but I want more!

This year's Men's Physique category was one of the busiest in history. As Juricek himself said, there were an incredible 74 competitors on the podium

"It's a great honour to be on stage with the best from all over the world, which this year meant 74 competitors or winners of at least one professional competition," he commented on the level of competition.

It is extremely difficult to break into the final 15 in such a field. Juricek was placed by the judges in the third comparison (callout), where he stayed in the middle all the time, which indicated a position just outside the final gates.

"At the end they moved me up one place, which would have meant 18-22 place again," he said of his result.

Success with a taste of disappointment, but the fight is not over

To be 20th in the world is undoubtedly a huge achievement, confirming one's membership of the absolute world's best. Miroslav himself is aware of this, but at the same time he makes no secret of the fact that his ambitions were aiming higher.

"If I put it this way, being 20th in the world is an achievement, but we had our sights set a little higher this year," he wrote honestly.

These words, however, are not a sign of resignation, but rather of determination. Instead of disappointment comes motivation and a clear plan for the future:

"I'm not finishing my career yet, so we fight on, analyze the mistakes and go to work on them."

One more battle to go and thanks to the fans

Moreover, Miroslav Juricek's fans can look forward to more competitive performances later this year. At the end of his post he hinted that the season is not over for him yet.

"Otherwise, we have one more battle this year, can you guess where?" he asked the fans and left them in suspense.

Last but not least, he didn't forget to thank for the huge support he is receiving. "Thank you again for all the support and motivation you give me, it's an incredible driving force in difficult times. Thank you, I will try to pass something on to you again," he told his supporters.
