Josef Květoň Back on the Podium!

Josef Květoň has had another exceptionally successful appearance on the professional bodybuilding stage! On Sunday, October 25, 2026, he competed at the 365 Grand Prix Pro in Košice, where he faced strong international competition in the Men’s Open category.

And the result? A fantastic second place!

The Czech bodybuilder was second only to Michal Križánek, who confirmed his status as the favorite in front of his home crowd and claimed another professional victory. Third place went to Hungarian competitor Balázs Koczfan, while another Czech representative, Pavel Beran, took fourth place.

Květoň has thus secured his second podium finish at a professional competition in just fifteen days!

From 10th place all the way to the podium! A huge improvement over last year

Just a year ago, however, the situation was completely different. At the EVLS Prague Pro 2025, Květoň finished in tenth place and openly admitted his disappointment with his result after the competition. This year, however, he managed to come back with significantly better results!

At the EVLS Prague Pro 2026, he won the bronze medal, finishing behind only the winner, Michal Križánek, and second-place finisher Pavel Beran. Fifteen days later, all three competitors met again in Košice. This time, however, Květoň managed to finish ahead of Beran and moved up to second place.

From last year’s tenth-place finish in Prague, he has thus worked his way up to two podium finishes in a single season!

Czech bodybuilders showed their strength!

The competition in Košice also yielded interesting results for the other Czech representatives: Pavel Beran took fourth place, and Jaroslav Jeníček also made it into the top ten, finishing in tenth place. Czech bodybuilding thus had three competitors in the top ten. For Josef Květoň, the silver medal from Košice represents another important achievement in his professional career and confirmation that his results this year are on an upward trend.

One thing is certain, in any case. After last year’s disappointment, Josef Květoň is enjoying an exceptionally successful end to the season and giving Czech fans yet another reason to celebrate!
