Josef Květoň fights for Top 10 at EVLS!

While the biggest attention in the semi-finals was drawn to the fight for the victory in the first call, where Pavel Beran was also present, the Czech colours were also visible in the rest of the competition. Another prominent Czech professional, Josef Květoň, is also fighting for the best possible position on the home stage.

Promising to "deliver what he promised" before the competition, Květoň brought a balanced and well-prepared package of muscle to the stage. His form was crisp and hard, just as is his wont. In an incredibly packed competition, it wasn't enough this time for the first, all-important call-up, but the judges called him in for a second comparison.

This group of competitors traditionally fights for the position right behind the absolute top. For Květona it is a great starting position for the final and a chance to fight for a valuable top ten position at one of the most prestigious European shows.

Even though he probably won't be attacking medal positions this year, his performance confirms that he is one of the stable and quality professionals who can make a name for himself in international competition. It is great news for Czech fans that they have several representatives fighting for the top positions. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Josef to improve his position in the finals!
