Jiri Tkadlcik won European Championship in Armenia in u105kg category

As you know from our interview, Jiří Tkadlčík recently had to deal with an injury, which he fortunately managed to overcome and was able to return to the racing scene. Thanks to this he was able to participate in the European Championships in Armenia in the u105kg category, which he eventually completely dominated and took home the gold medal!

Below you can read how Jirka commented on his win.

I just won the European Championships in Armenia in the u105kg category. It's the 4th European Championship win in my life, across all associations, and it's the first big win after my back injury. At the same time I set the official world record in the middleweight zercher squat, 260kg. When I was lying in my living room at home a year and a half ago and had two KO plates, I was really scared for a while that I might not experience this again. And I was wrong. I'm back. Stronger, smarter, more predatory. And it's not the first Europe I'm taking this year! Thanks so much for all the support!!!

And congratulations to Vojt and Radek, 2nd and 5th place. Great job!!! Seeing you grow is more than winning. Honestly! And last but not least, I want to say a big thank you to the people who believed in me even when I was lying at home and couldn't get out of bed.
