"It was an amazing feeling to be back," Patrick Moore says of his comeback

During the first weekend in February, another edition of the prestigious Arnold Classic took place, where Patrick Moore showed up after a long break.

He last showed his physique at the Legion Sports Fest 2021, where he only finished tenth. As a result, Patrick decided to take a year off from racing. However, at first it looked like his return would not be heading back to the Open, but to the Classic Physique division, which favors aesthetics and symmetry rather than bulk.

"What if the comeback wasn't for the Open......what if it was for Classic Physique? What if I cared more about my condition, lines and aesthetics than size? What if I took all that time to break down muscle and change categories? Stranger things have happened...?"

However, Patrick eventually made his way back to the heavyweights and finished tenth at the Arnold Classic. Despite many assuming that this must have been a disappointment for Moore, this is not the case and judging by what this great competitor wrote on social media, he was very happy to be back.

This was special! 9 months after surgery for a torn Achilles and 7 weeks of training. Almost two years off the stage and it felt amazing to be back.
