"I will come back better and stronger," says Samson after Olympia

The bodybuilding world was left in awe when Samson Dauda, one of the favourites for the title, came fourth at the Mr. Olympia 2025 competition. After the competition, he released a statement in which he did not hide his disappointment but also showed his determination to come back stronger.

Dauda said he had listened to the judges' criticism from previous years and brought his best form yet to the podium.

"I was more chiseled and in the best shape of my life," he said.

At the same time, he thinks it was the quest for perfect sharpness that cost him a better placing.

"In the pursuit of perfection, I paid the price for not being the bigger version,"

he added, suggesting that in his opinion the judges ultimately favoured volume over maximum quality. Despite his disappointment, Dauda made sure to congratulate the winner, Derek Lunsford, on winning his second Mr. Olympia title. Dauda told his fans and competitors that this is not the end of his journey to the coveted Sandow statuette.

"This is not the end," he wrote. "I will come back better and stronger."

This result and Dauda's determination promise a thrilling story for the upcoming season, in which he'll try to find the ideal balance between bulk and definition to finally reach bodybuilding's Olympus.
