Glass warns against counterfeit steroids

If you were looking for a true expert in bodybuilding, you would definitely come up with the name Charles Glass. Although this trainer is already a really old grandfather, he abounds with incredible knowledge and experience in this sport. Dozens of competitors have passed under Charles' hands, the most famous ones being Dexter Jackson and Flex Wheeler. From our Czech scene, for example, Kateřina Kyptová was under his guidance. However, we must not forget Dwayne Johnson, who is not a racer, but his figure would certainly not disappear on the stage.

Due to recent deaths in bodybuilding, many competitors have commented on the use of doping substances, which most likely contributed to the deaths of already deceased bodybuilders. Seth Feroce, for example, has leaned very heavily into banned substances and even stated:

"I knew the day would come when I would have to make this shitty video. Nobody seems to be saying that. Steroids will kill you. You get it. They're gonna fucking kill you. They're gonna kill you. You're playing with fire and we all know it. Not many people say that. Of course, they don't say it like I do, but that's the reality.

And in this very article, we're going to look at what Charles Glass had to say about steroid use.

There are many counterfeit drugs and there are many fake drugs. You think you're taking something, but you're taking something else that's gonna mess you up. Why would you take it if you don't know what's in it... You try testosterone for $30 and someone else sells testosterone for $50 that you buy? Well, the $30 one because it's cheaper. It doesn't mean it's better, it just means it's cheaper. Most of the time when it's that cheap, it's from an underground lab.

I'll tell you what, the quickest way to get ready - take your time, build slowly. In college, when I was a gymnast, I didn't do any drugs and I was able to lift heavy weights."

It's clear that Charles is focusing on the situation in the U.S., but apparently this problem with counterfeit steroids will affect every country, including the Czech Republic. You can watch the full interview in the video below.

Finally, we would like to point out that we are certainly not encouraging anyone to use doping substances, no matter how good they may be!
