Bodybuilder Illia Golem died, he was only 36 years old!

The bodybuilding world has been hit with sad news - Illia Golem (Illia Yefimchyk by his own name), one of the most monstrous bodybuilders in the world, has died at the age of just 36. This bodybuilder, known for his huge physique and intense training regime, died of cardiac arrest. The tragedy occurred on September 6, 2024, when Illia suffered a heart attack at home. Despite the best efforts of his wife Anna, who tried to resuscitate him, Illia was taken by helicopter to the hospital, where he died two days later.

The golem, weighing up to 340 pounds (over 150 kg), was famous for his incredible musculature and nicknames such as "The Golem" and "The Mutant". He built his career not only through his looks, but also through social media, where he had more than 300,000 fans. He was known for his openness about his training routines and his extreme diet, which was up to 16,500 calories a day.

Despite never competing at the highest level, Illia Golem's influence in the community was huge. His death adds to a number of other recent tragedies in bodybuilding, raising questions about the health risks that top athletes face.
