Arnold Schwarzenegger refused to financially support his son after he finished college
Arnold Schwarzenegger is known by almost everyone around the world, so it's no wonder that when his illegitimate son (Joseph Baena) found out who his father was, he exclaimed "Cool!' ". Arnold took care of his son financially until he graduated from college, which certainly helped. But after graduating from college, Arnold told Joseph that he would no longer support him financially and that he had to fend for himself. Beana, however, faced the situation head on.
"I'm really grateful that my dad helped me through college."
While Joseph is an aspiring actor and bodybuilder, he decided to work in a real estate office after graduation to earn some of those dollars to start his "new life."
"I needed a job and I wasn't getting any of the acting roles I thought I was going to get, but I needed to make some money. I told myself I had to do something, so I started interning at a real estate company."
Arnie's son began acting at the Los Angeles real estate firm ARIA Properties, where he still works. Beana has three other half-siblings, whom Arnold fathered with his ex-wife, Maria Shriver.
