Arnold Schwarzenegger had heart surgery and now has a pacemaker!
As a bodybuilding phenomenon, Arnold Schwarzenegger has earned the attention of the entire world with one of the most well-developed figures of a generation. In addition to countless other awards, he has won a total of seven Mr. Olympia titles. However, when Arnold retired from professional bodybuilding, he moved on to a completely different track. He expanded into acting and government, further cementing his legendary status.
At 76, Schwarzenegger struggled with a number of health problems. He underwent several heart surgeries, but always emerged healthier and stronger than before. Now that Schwarzenegger has struggled with heart problems for more than a decade, his story of health and triumph serves as an inspiration to millions of his followers.
"I want to thank my entire team at the Cleveland Clinic. All the doctors and nurses took amazing care of me and made sure the surgery was as painless as possible."

Last Monday (March 18, 2024), Schwarzenegger revealed that he underwent surgery to implant a pacemaker. He talked about the ordeal and revealed how times have changed since his days in Austria, where health problems were often kept from the public.
"Last Monday I had an operation to become a bit more of a machine: I got a pacemaker.
I have to tell you that just telling you all this is contrary to my upbringing in Austria, where no one - ever - talked about health problems. Everything that concerned health care was kept to oneself.
But I've received so many messages and emails from people who were born with bicuspid aortic valves, just like me, telling me that telling them about my valve replacement surgery gave them courage and hope to deal with their own."
