Andrew Jacked lures you to a spectacular show at Pittsburgh Pro: The fight with Lunsford and Dauda will be hell!

Expectations for this year's Mr. Olympia are rising and bodybuilding fans can look forward to the first proper taste of what's to come this year. Chinedu Andrew "Jacked" Obiekea, one of the hottest candidates to win the dream Sandow statue, recently spoke about his upcoming exhibition (guest posing) at the Pittsburgh Pro. It's there that he'll meet reigning champion Derek Lunsford and the massive Samson Dauda on the same stage.

Riding an incredible wave of success

If anyone has the wind in their sails right now, it's Andrew Jacked. After a fantastic run of three wins in a row, dominating the Romania Pro, the Arnold Classic in Ohio and the Arnold Classic UK, he has made history. In fact, he became the first ever bodybuilder to earn a whopping $1 million in prize money in a single month.

Who is preparing for the exhibition and who is not?

Although the Pittsburgh crowd (May 16-17) is expecting an epic show full of muscle, Jacked admitted in an interview with Beyond the Stage TV that he's not going to tune up his form specifically for the event.

"I don't plan to go on any hard diet for the show. It's still just a guest appearance, bro," Jacked explained.

He recalled the legendary Shawn Rhoden, who was made fun of for his big belly at the Pittsburgh show, only to win the Olympia a few months later.

According to Jacked, Samson Dauda has a very similar approach.

"Someone asked Samson if he was going to come uncut. His answer was perfect - his body is already going through a huge drill, why would he needlessly torture it even more for an exhibition? He's working hard towards the Olympia."

But a completely different scenario seems to be the choice of reigning Mr. Olympia champion, Derek Lunsford.

"By all accounts, it looks like Derek is really preparing and fine-tuning his form for the show," smiled Jacked. "But clearly, we all have our own approach and do things our own way. It's definitely going to be interesting."

Respect for the champion and a threat named Nick Walker

Although Jacked is confident, he knows full well that dethroning Lunsford won't be easy.

"You have to have respect for the reigning Mr. Olympia. Derek is extremely dangerous and everyone knows he's a real badass. It's going to be like going to hell and back, I guarantee it."

Interesting words were then spoken about Nick Walker. Although he is keeping his current plans rather under wraps after his injury, Jacked considers him one of the least predictable opponents in the Open category

"Nick is a mutant. You never know what he's going to come up with. If he shows up at the Olympia this year, everyone should be on the lookout for the maximum."

The bodybuilding world is eagerly counting down the days until the Pittsburgh Pro. It's there that we'll get our first real idea of what this year's highlight of the season could look like at Mr. Olympia, which takes place Sept. 24-27 in Las Vegas. It's going to be a battle of the titans!
