Evan Centopani: "Maybe I'll get on stage again."

This year marks five years since professional open division bodybuilder Evan Centopani was badly injured. He slipped on an icy sidewalk in early February 2017, tearing the hamstring in his left leg!

He had planned to return to the competition boards in 2020 and present his physique at the 2020 New York Pro, only for the competition to be cancelled and so Evan had to postpone his plans.

And even though he's 41 years old, he still hasn't hung up his racing trunks. He recently revealed that he hasn't "officially" retired yet, and if he can heal any more injuries, he might return to the racing boards.

"I wasn't 'officially' retired. Even though I don't plan on competing, if I can fix a few injuries I've been dealing with, I may get back on the podium again."

For many of us, this news may indeed come as a shock, as no one had hoped that this phenomenal bodybuilder, would ever return to the competition podium again.

Evan Centopani last competed at the Arnold Classic Australia in 2016, where he took fourth place.
