Eddie Hall - When did he become the strongest man in the world? What are his feats? How much does he weigh and measure? That's not all today's article is about.
Englishman Eddie Hall, who holds several world records, can lift cars, pull planes with his bare hands and throw beer barrels.

There are several reasons why Eddie is nicknamed "The Beast". Here are a few.
When did Eddie become the strongest man in the world?
Eddie Hall was crowned the World's Strongest Man in 2017 when he dominated the World's Strongest Man competition.
Back then, he beat both Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and defending champion Brian Shaw.
However, he did not compete in this year's competition, so the aforementioned Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson was able to win the title.
In addition to that title, the 30-year-old Eddie is also a five-time British champion and six-time UK's Strongest Man title holder.
Incidentally, he first dominated both competitions in 2011 when he was just 23 years old!

What are Eddie's feats?
He's the first person in the world to 'peel' an incredible half a tonne off the ground! This feat even earned him an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records!
His other world record is 216 kg lifted above his head in the form of Apollo wheels.
Equally impressive feats are 405 kg for squat, 300 kg for bench press, 1100 kg for leg press or 230 kg for log lift.
Commenting on his feats, he said:
"I lifted weights so heavy that I woke up in pools of blood and my eyes almost popped out of my head. It may sound like madness, but I am a man trying to be the strongest man in the world!"
