Eddie Hall gained 5kg over the Christmas weekend!

Since switching to boxing, former top strongman, Eddie Hall, has undergone a massive body transformation, managing to lose over 75 pounds! The harsh diet Hall underwent to reduce excess fat and develop a better physique for boxing. Eddie recently posted his current form on his social media, to which he admitted that he put on a whopping 5kg after the Christmas weekend!

Hall wrote that he weighed 163 kg after the Christmas weekend, which is approximately 5 kg more than his weight before the weekend... Despite the weight gain, Hall's body looks lean and in good shape. However, the Brit suggested that the kilos gained over the weekend were really noticeable during the run.

I weighed 163kg today and I have to say the run was a bit harder this morning but the leg workout was a breeze. My nutritionist said I can eat and drink whatever I want... After a year of chicken, rice and veggies I think my body and mind needed it! Hope everyone had fun and spent time with family," wrote Eddie Hall in the caption to his post.

The Eddie Hall vs. Hafthor Bjornsson fight is expected to take place in March 2022. However, the exact date and venue are not yet clear. However, both strongmen have already garnered a lot of praise for their approach to preparing for the fight. Looking at the training videos and the physical transformation, it is clear that Hall and Bjornsson have abandoned the regimen required in strongman sports. Instead, they focus on developing the functional strength and conditioning that boxing requires.

Recently, Bjornsson also shared his current form. At 206 cm, Thor has the height advantage. His lean and muscular physique also suggests better cardio, speed and overall better conditioning. This combination could pose a great danger to Hall...
