Don't miss the current forms of several fighters preparing for the May competitions!
The start of this year's season of the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League is upon us! As much as we anticipate it, it is of course much more anticipated by the bodybuilders themselves, who are currently in preparation for the 2021 Indy Pro, scheduled for May 8, and the New York Pro, which will take place a week later.
We'll take a look at some of the more timid forms of a few of them in this article.
Mohamed El Emam
The Egyptian, who has been living in Russia for a long time, has already made four starts among the heavyweights, two of which can be considered very successful as he took home 4th place finishes. This was the case at the Monsterzym Pro 2019 and the Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2020.
So we can expect him to be looking to fight for a top 5 finish at the Indy Pro 2021 as well!

Shawn Smith
Shawn Smith will be the next heavyweight to compete at the 2021 Indy Pro. While he may not be one of the favorites for the top spot given his results so far(Tampa Pro 2019 - 10th place, Chicago Pro 2020 - 13th place), that doesn't mean he can't surprise at the event itself!
Carlos Chapa
Also weighing 120 kilograms, Charlos Chapa is another representative of the Open category, who is currently preparing for the 2021 Indy Pro. This will be only his second competitive start, having made his first one in 2018 at the Wings of Strength Muscle Vodka Tampa Pro, where he finished 16th.

Dorian Haywood
Compared to the previous, less experienced fighters, Dorian Haywood with his eleven starts is already a seasoned fighter, but his results are not great. His best results are two 6th place finishes from the 2019 Indy Pro and the 2020 Tampa Pro.
He would like to finally improve his competitive reputation in Indianapolis.
John Jewett
In the lighter weight category, which will be more packed not only in the number of competitors, but also in their qualities, one of the favourites for the top positions will be John Jewett, currently weighing 94.5 kg.
He has had a very successful 2019 season in which he scored a triumph at the 2019 Tampa Pro, followed by an excellent 4th place finish at the 2019 Olympia 212 Showdown! He then competed in the top event of the season last year as well, but only finished 13th there.
Sahar Kazes
The Israeli Sahar Kazes will also be one of the big favourites for the top spot at Indy Pro 2021, despite the fact that this will be only his second start among the elite.
After all, he made his debut in 2019 with a great 4th place finish at the 2019 Musclecontest Ireland Pro!
Nathan Epler
Nathan Empler, the winner of the men's bodybuilding category up to 102 kg at the 2019 NPC USA, is preparing for his debut start among professionals in the lighter weight class.
He is taking the competition as his first experience with the big stage, and he expects nothing from it not only due to his inexperience, but also due to the fact that at 175 cm he will be one of the tallest, and therefore also the fittest competitors.
Nick Walker
Moving on from the Indy Pro 2021 to the New York Pro 2021, where one of the contenders for the top spot among the heavyweights will be Nick Walker, despite this being only his second professional start.
Nick made his elite debut at last year's Chicago Pro, where he finished a very respectable 4th place!

Austin Karr
Just like Nick, Austin Karr also competed at last year's Wings of Strength Chicago, but in the 212lb division. He took a great 2nd place there, and will surely be one of the favorites for the top spots in Florida, where the 2021 New York Pro will be held.
