CZECH WEIGHTLIFTING OPEN 2019 - new weightlifting competition for everyone !
"The first ever CZECH WEIGHTLIFTING OPEN 2019 will be held on 27.6. - 30.6. in the premises of the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University in Brno.
Individuals and four-member mixed teams will compete.
As the name suggests, the competition will be "open", i.e. open to everyone who wants to participate. It doesn't matter if you are into weightlifting or CrossFit at any level, or if you just do the snatch and overhead at home in your garage for fun.
This competition is about coming out to try and outdo yourself, it's for anyone who would like to lift at competitions and hasn't committed to it yet. No need to be registered with any association or club, just sign up and go for it!
The event will also include a two-day conference packed with talks by leaders in their fields - be it nutrition, strength training or recovery for example. It won't be focused strictly on weightlifting, but strength sports in general, so it will be a benefit to anyone doing any strength sport"
