Czech lion Jiri Tkadlcik became European champion in Official Strongman association!

During the last weekend our best Czech strongman of U105 category Jiri Tkadlcik participated in the European Championship of the Official Strongman Association in Rotherham, England. These competitions were attended by several PRO stars of strongman sport, the most famous of which is the holder of the title of the world's strongest man all time and the world record in deadlift 500kg Eddie Halla!

The strongmen competed in five disciplines that were supposed to test them in all aspects -deadlift, loglift, super yoke, forward hold and loading race. Jiri managed to place in 3rd place in all disciplines and in the end after the results were added up he took gold!

On the 10th of July I received an invitation from Dave Waren, the organizer of Official Strongman, to "Europe" without qualification, supposedly for my birthday. So I thanked him and flew, I wasn't going to let it go to waste.", laughs the strongman and adds.

Of course I was extremely motivated to show up in front of Eddie because he is a real legend. I think it was also thanks to him that I kept fighting until the last second and managed to reverse the second place that had been with me not only in the race but actually since the World Cup in Kazakhstan.

Jiri Tkadlcik won silver in Kazakhstan!
