Wesley Vissers regains his title! Arnold Classic Physique 2026 results

The Classic Physique category at the Arnold Sports Festival 2026 delivered a spectacular show. The final night culminated in the victory of Wesley Vissers, who scored his second triumph at this prestigious competition.

However, the competition line-up suffered a huge blow right from the start - reigning champion Mike Sommerfeld was unable to fit into the strict weight limit for the Classic Physique category and thus could not enter the competition at all. But the show had to go on, and there was quite a battle for the centre of the stage.

Wesley Vissers (2024 Arnold Classic Champion) showed dramatic improvement in leg width, detail and overall muscle fullness on stage. This gave his physique much better symmetry and balance, perfectly meeting the rigorous standards of this division.

The fight in the finals

Vissers' classic "Golden Era" look set the tone in the very first moments. However, his strong and dangerous opponent was Matheus Menegate, who was not to be disgraced. He competed mainly thanks to his stunning upper body muscle density and precise preparation in frontal stances.

After a thrilling final sit-down, however, expectations were confirmed and Wesley Vissers confidently won his second title at the Arnold Classic. Matheus Menegate took a great second place and the bronze went to Andrea Mammoli, who absolutely thrilled the fans with his performance.
