Urs Kalecinski wins the open division again - Europa Pro Championships 2025 results

German bodybuilder Urs "The Miracle Bear" Kalecinski shocked the bodybuilding world when he recently announced his move from the Classic Physique category to the Royal Men's Open division. Now, after his second straight win at the 2025 Europa Pro Championships, he is proving that his decision was the right one and that he is a force to be reckoned with at the highest level.

Kalecinski, who was considered one of the main favourites for the Classic Physique title after the departure of the legendary Chris Bumstead, decided to change categories due to serious health reasons. According to him, the constant and drastic weight loss before competitions was unsustainable for his physical and mental health. The move now allows him to focus on building maximum muscle mass without weight restrictions.

His debut at the ProMuscle Italy Pro was phenomenal and he took his first win. Just a week later, at the prestigious Europa Pro in Offenbach, Germany, he repeated his success. In the final he fought a close battle with Quinton Eriya, but in the end the judges were convinced by his symmetry, presentation and overall preparedness.

With this victory, Urs Kalecinski not only secured another valuable title, but above all confirmed his qualification for Mr. Olympia 2025 in the Men's Open category. The bodybuilding community is eagerly awaiting to see how this talented athlete will fare against the absolute world's best on the world's biggest stage. His rapid adaptation and success in a new division make him one of the most exciting and watched bodybuilders of today.
