Men's 212 Olympia 2025 prejudging | Reportage

One of the most anticipated fights of the year is here! The stage in Las Vegas was set ablaze on Friday, October 10, with the onslaught of 212 Olympia muscle. Defending champion Keone had to face his biggest rival, former champion Shaun Clarida. Prejudging showed that we were in for one of the most dramatic finals in recent years!

The under 212lb division is renowned for its incredible muscle density, sculpting and perfect proportions. Even though these fighters are smaller than the Open division, their fights are all the more exciting. This year is no exception and the battle for the throne is wide open.

First Callout - Elite on the scene

The first callout already showed who will fight for the top ranks. The judges invited the absolute top to the centre of the stage, where not one of the favourites was missing.

• Kerrith Bajjo
• Shaun Clarida
• Lucas Garcia
• Nihat Kaya
• Courage Opara
• Keone Pearson

Second Callout

This group fought for more valuable places in the final Top 10. The competition was huge and each of the competitors tried to show their best.

• Jose Maria Bueriberi
• Luiz Esteves
• Frankie Mercado
• Vitor Alves Porto De Oliveira
• Marco Ruz
• Francisco Barrios Vlk
• Giuseppe Zagarella

Third Callout

The third callout featured more well-prepared athletes who fought for their final position.

• Radoslav Angelov
• Lucas Coelho
• Roman Iushchenko
• Sung Yeop Jang
• Ching Chien Lin
• Mazin Al Rahbi
• Samir Troudi

Final Evocation - Who's with who?

As expected, the best of the best made it to the final comparison. The four who would go head to head for the medals were left on stage.

• Shaun Clarida
• Lucas Garcia
• Nihat Kaya
• Keone Pearson

The main focus was on the straight fight between Keone Pearson and Shaun Clarida. While Keone brought back his incredible structure and fullness of muscle, Clarida shocked with his brutal form, hardness and muscle mass. But alongside them, Lucas Garcia and Nihat Kaya also shone and could still have a significant say in the medal fight.

Who will win the title?

Prejudging has given us a clear message: This is going to be a battle to the finish. Does Keone have what it takes to defend his title, or will the unstoppable "Giant Killer" Shaun Clarida dethrone him? The finale promises to be a breathtaking spectacle!
