Clarence DeVis picked up his first professional win at the 2018 George Farah Classic this weekend!

Last Sunday, the northern Italian city of Padua hosted a new professional show called the George Farah Classic.

Twenty-four fighters took part in the competition, which bears the name of the former successful professional, and currently highly respected specialist in pre-contest preparation, who has been battling cancer for some time. However, only one single winner could emerge from them, who could thus secure direct qualification for the upcoming edition of Mr. Olympia.

There were several fighters who were already considered favorites for the triumph, especially Max Charles, Igor Illes and the massive Mohsen Samadi.

However, the wind was taken out of the sails of all of them right on the stage by the duo of Clarence DeVis and Andrea Presti, who fought a very even battle for the triumph in front of the judges. It was a duel between a very experienced but not very successful matador and a professional newcomer.

In the end, the more experienced fighter, Clarence DeVis, was the winner, thus claiming his first triumph after eleven years of competing in the IFBB professional league!

DeVis has always been able to offer a symmetrical, eye-pleasing physique, but he never came in shape. But this time was different. On the podium he presented not only an excellent physique, but also a very solid final preparation!

As he said himself after the victory, it was mainly his collaboration with George Farah that led him to success.

The second place went to Andrea Presti.

"Up to" third place went to the massive Max Charles, extending his streak of failures. He too is one of those fighters who can't find the right recipe for optimal readiness! His form is more or less worthy of an exhibition performance, unfortunately, he cannot think of better results.

The fourth place went to the home fighter Andrea Muzi.

The aforementioned newcomer Mohsen Samadi, mentioned in the introduction, took a very good fifth place here, a solid fifth place in his professional debut.

Slovak bodybuilder Igor Illes managed to break into the Top 10 with an eighth place.
