Chuck "Kali Muscle" Kirkendall is hospitalized after suffering a heart attack

It's very interesting to see that almost every famous person from the fitness world has a youtube channel where they share their information with the public. One of them is Chuck "Kali Muscle" Kirkendall. This American actor, entertainer, but also bodybuilder has more than 2.3 million subscribers and more than 400 million views on his channel as of April 2, 2021! People love watching Kali's videos in which he educates his followers on exercise, diet, but also makes funny and entertaining videos.

For example, we may remember Chuck from his commercial for Geico, in which he drives traffic as a grumpy bodybuilder... This entertainer has starred in other commercials for Honda and Snickers.

But Kirkendall's life wasn't always about fame. Chuck was born in 1975 in Oakland, California, which at the time wasn't exactly peace and order. And, as is often the case, young boys tend to be the biggest rabble-rousers. That's what happened to this former bodybuilder who, despite being a promising young football player who had won a scholarship to college, had to trade his time for a prison cell where he spent 11 years for robbery!

But all bad things are good for something. While in prison, Chuck fell in love with exercise and started working hard. Soon, his physique changed and he got into a really nice shape. With the guards taking all of Chuck's equipment, Kirkendall had to change his exercise philosophy to avoid losing his muscles. Subsequently, he started working out with his own weights. Once Chuck served his time, he completely changed. He set up a YouTube channel and decided to inform the public about his exercise tips, which he began to become more and more influential. The fans of this interesting perzone kept growing and Kirkendall started to be seen more and more. This is one of the reasons why he was chosen to star in the 2011 Wonder Woman movie, for example.

And on November 7, we could see a video on his youtube channel in which this 46-year-old muscular American informed that he had suffered a heart attack. Fortunately, Chuck is hospitalized and should be discharged home in the coming days. This news comes just one day after one of the most famous bodybuilders in the world, Shawn Rhoden, died of a heart attack he suffered in his sleep.

Chuck, however, had been dealing with swollen feet for more than 15 years, which told him something was wrong. However, the signals were ignored until a blockage in his left artery occurred and Chuck suffered the aforementioned heart attack. Hopefully, this fitness promoter will recover and be able to continue his work that entertains hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
