Check the current forms of LUIS RODRIGUEZ, NICK WALKER, HASSAN MOSTAFA and others
Author: LUIS RODRIGUEZ, NICK WALKER, HASSAN MOSTAFA, CARLOS CHAPA, DERIK OSLAN and JOHN JEWETT are among the representatives of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League who will enter this season at the New York Pro 2021 and Indy Pro 2021 in May.
The New York Pro will take place on May 15, while the Indy Pro will take place a week earlier on May 8.
Luis Rodriguez
Luis certainly had his most successful season to date among the elite last year, as he managed a very respectable 10th place finish at the 2020 Mr. Olympia! This year he would like to win his first elite title, which his coach Abdullah Al Otaibi will help him to achieve. He replaced AJ Sims.
Under the tutelage of the aforementioned Abdullah, Brandon Curry has seen incredible improvement and is the 2019 Mr. Olympia title holder!
Luis believes that he too can improve under the guidance of this fighter, so much so that he will not only win his first professional victory at the New York Pro 2021, but also another opportunity to compete at the most prestigious competition in the world, Mr. Olympia!
Nick Walker
For the same competition, and with the same goal, Nick Walker is aiming his current preparation. He still ranks among the professional rookies, as this will be only his second start among the elite! His debut was only last year at the Chicago Pro, where he took a very respectable 4th place.
Hassan Mostafa
Egyptian bodybuilder Hassan Mostafa, who has been spending the last few weeks in Las Vegas, is also thinking about the top positions. There he is training at The Dragons Lair, a gym owned by seven-time Olympia 212 Showdown winner James "Flex" Lewis!
Carlos Chapa
A week earlier, on May 8, 2021, Charlos Chapa was to make his second start among the heavyweights. The American made his debut in 2016 at the Wings of Strength Muscle Vodka Tampa Pro, where he finished 16th.
John Jewett
The Indy Pro will also feature a fight in the under 212lb category, where one of the strongest favourites to win will surely be John Jewett, who managed a great 4th place finish at the 2019 Olympia 212 Showdown!
Then last year he took a hit at the 2020 Olympia 212 Showdown, taking as high as 13th place. However, he intends to forget that setback with his winning performance at the Indy Pro!
Derik Oslan
It was Derik Oslan who managed to fight his way past the aforementioned Jewett at the Olympia 212 Showdown 2020, taking a respectable 8th place!
He is also preparing for the 2021 Indy Pro with the expectation that he will be one of the favorites to finish on top!
