Cedric McMillan is thinking about ending his racing career!
Earlier this week, we told you that Cedric McMillan is the fifth bodybuilder to withdraw from the 2022 Arnold Classic, joining Nathan De Asha, Mohamed Shaaban, Akim Williams and Rafael Brandão, who have also cancelled their participation in the mega show.
The original report was that Cedric would not take part in the event, allegedly because he had not had time to prepare properly. However, he recently posted an official explanation on his social media.
Ever since I tried to compete at the Legionshow in Nevadain October I 've had stomach issues. For some reason I can't keep food down. It creates some stupid hiccups, I hiccup all day and half the night and whenever I eat or even drink water. The food keeps coming back and won't stay in my stomach. I finally decided to contact the show and tell them I can't compete. You see, they welcomed me and kept wanting me to come anyway. So I'll be in Ohio, for anyone who's there. Come and see me. Does that mean I have to retire if I'm still sick?" Cedric McMillan said
According to what McMillan has revealed, he will participate in the competition but will not race. But the big question is his future, which will keep Cedric up at night. Apparently, he's thinking of calling it a career. After all, it would probably be a good move if his health doesn't improve. We know all too well what happens to bodybuilders who don't look at their health and pursue their goals at the expense of their health.
What do you think, will McMillan still return to the competition boards?
