California Pro 2018 - results

The city of Culver City, located in the US state of California, was the venue for this year's IFBB Jim Minion California Pro League on Saturday 26th May.

The competition featured a total of 24 fighters, a significant number of whom also competed last weekend in New York.
Here too, the big favourite was Briton Nathan DeAsha, who dominated the New York show. Apart from him, Josh Wade, Rafael Brandao, Lionel Beyeke and our Milan Šádek also competed here.

Apart from the above mentioned fighters, other quality competitors such as Essa Obaid, Gerald Williams and Sasan Heirati also joined the competition.

Unlike the New York Pro competition, our Milan Šádek didn't make it to the first semifinal comparison, as the judges chose the six Nathan DeAsha, Sasan Heirati, Lionel Beyeke, Rafael Brandao, Josh Wade, and Gerald Williams.

Milan was then given the opportunity in the second comparison, for which the pair of Williams and Wade remained on the podium, and in addition to the aforementioned Milan Sádek, the trio of Luke Sandoe, Johni Shreve, and Derek Upshaw rounded out the field.

Milan again fought the best for the seventh place. However, the judges shuffled the cards quite properly, and Milan managed to improve!

As was the case a week ago at the New York Pro, Nathan DeAsha was triumphant. The monstrously impressive Briton benefited from a lot of muscle mass as well as quality and symmetry.

However, Nathan also fought a very close battle with another fighter. While in New York it was Juan Morel, here all present were very pleasantly surprised by another Briton, Sasan Heirati.
Sasan has been convincing of his qualities for the third season, and his best result was at last year's California show, where he took a great second place.
The same place was also achieved this year by this fighter, whose musculature is perfectly plastic, full, hard and perfectly put together.

Third place went to Rafael Brandao, who has been able to work on his final preparation since last week, which was duly appreciated by the judges.

As in New York, Josh Wade took fourth place. Although he was certainly one of the better prepared fighters on the podium, which cannot be denied, in terms of symmetry he loses to many of his opponents. So he could easily appear a little lower on the scorecard.

Fifth place went to Lionel Beyeke, who improved significantly on his performance at the New York Pro, where he finished eighth. He, like the aforementioned Brandao, was also able to work on his form. However, it's still not what is expected from a fighter with such potential.

Amix Nutrition 's Milan Šádek took a great sixth place here. Milan was also in a bit better shape than he was in New York. Especially his dry skin, which gave a lot of details to admire, was his domain this time.
In short, Milan proved here too that he is a valid competitor in the OPEN category!

Last year's winner of this event Gerald Williams, who finished behind Milan "as high as" seventh place, saw it for himself!

Also fighters like An Nguyen, Essa Ibrahim Obaid or Manuel Romero finished behind Milan.

Essa Obaid and Manuel Romero in particular were rightly considered the biggest disappointments of the competition. Both fighters, who have many victories and scalps of many big names to their credit, didn't really make a dent here, with Essa taking 12th place and Manuel finishing as high as 16th.
