Boston Pro 2022 - the first edition of the Boston show was dominated by William Bonac!

Boston, the capital of the U.S. state of Massachusetts and the largest city in New England, was the site of the first annual Boston Pro competition on Saturday, March 12. This competition was supposed to take place last year and the year before, but was cancelled each time due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

This time, however, it was already successful, and a total of 11 fighters, some of them very well-known and seasoned fighters, took part in its first edition! After all, no less than six of them, namely William Bonac, Steve Kuclo, Samson Dauda, Luis Rodriguez, Regan Grimes and Max Charles,, had competed at the 34th edition of the prestigious Arnold Classic a week ago!

The biggest and clear favourite to win here was William Bonac, the second man of the aforementioned Arnold, who many thought would dominate it. The other fighters who were to battle it out on the podium were Steve Kuclo, Samson Dauda and Luis Rodriguez, the third, fourth and fifth men of the 2022 Arnold Classic.

The above was immediately confirmed by the first semi-final comparison, in which the judges invited all the named fighters. All four of them could show not only their strengths but also some weaknesses.

First semifinal comparison - Steve Kuclo, Luis Rodriguez, William Bonac and Samson Dauda

The role of the favourite here was really confirmed by William Bonac, who already proved at the aforementioned Arnold Classic that he has found the recipe for the lost density and quality of muscle mass. He is one step closer to his best form from 2018 to 2020, when he not only dominated the Arnold Classic twice, but also won a great second place at Mr. Olympia 2019!

With this triumph, he has qualified for this year's Mr. Olympia competition, where he has been competing continuously since 2014, and this will be his ninth appearance.
His goal will be to fight his way back into the Top 5, as he did in 2017 to 2020.

According to his own words, this will give him enough time to work on the shortcomings that are blamed on him by the judges, and he is also aware of them, namely gynecomastia and lack of sharpness of the abdominal muscles.

He will be working on the first one in the next few days, when he is due for surgery. After that he would like to have as short a recovery as possible, and as soon as possible he will start preparing for his ninth Olympia.

Luis Rodriguez came in second. He confirmed here that he is in the form of his life this year! Just like last week in Columbus, he was able to offer incredible muscle separation and sculpting combined with impressive volumes.

Also Steve Kuclo, who finished third here, as he did at the 2022 Arnold Classic, is in the form of his life this year!

Fourth place went to Samson Dauda, whose aesthetics, stage movement and overall presentation can only be quietly envied by most of the current bodybuilding scene across all federations! However, in order to attack the top ranks of any competition he enters, he needs to pack on some extra pounds of muscle on some parts.

Max Charles is also in the top 5. When we wrote with this fighter, given his performance at the 2022 Arnold Classic, that he was not finding the ideal recipe for final readiness, that was not the case this Saturday! In fact, he presented one of his best forms in the last few seasons!
