The charges come from the Ontario Provincial Police who, after a sixteen month investigation, seized over $32 million worth of illegal cannabis and its derivatives! The operation was called Gainsborough and led to the identification of a very sophisticated and complex criminal network that also operated an illegal cannabis website. The organization supplied drugs to London, Kitchener, Hamilton and Toronto. In addition, members of the organization also exported illegal drugs to various parts of the world, including South America and Europe.

The raid took place on November 3 and 21 people were arrested for their alleged involvement, including the aforementioned bodybuilder.

However, Zane Watson had a previous conviction for drug use and was jailed for six months. Even Watson's father also had a major drug problem that eventually caused him to quit his business, which centered on running various fitness centers.

Zane got into bodybuilding through his parents who also competed in the sport. The biggest sporting achievement that Zane achieved was participating in the 2019 Olympia where he finished in twelfth place.
