Bigman Weekend Pro 2019 - Williams again fell short, Lenartowicz triumphs!

The Spanish city of Benidorm hosted the second edition of the Jim Manion IFBB Professional League on Sunday 28th April, the second edition of the Bigman Weekend Pro.

This edition, like thefirst one, was exclusively for bodybuilders without weight limit, i.e. representatives of the Open category. There were 13 of them on the stage.

Akim Williams and Joshua Lenartowicz were already considered favorites before the competition. The judges were also convinced of the quality of this duo when they, together with the foursome of James Hollingshead, Eddie Bracamontes, Rafael Brandao and Dani Kaganovich, chose them immediately for the first semi-final comparison.

The two aforementioned fighters fought a fierce battle for the triumph from the very beginning of the competition, which was eventually won by Joshua Lenartowicz. The latter earned his fourth professional victory not only for his muscularity but also for his very good form.

Second place, as was the case at the 2019 Indy Pro, went to Akim Williams. He raced in much better form here than he did at the recent Arnold Classic South America 2019, and could easily have taken the win here. Among his assets, by the way, as always, was his almost comic book hulkiness.

James Hollingshead managed to take third place, his best placing among the pros to date. He has put up more volume compared to last year's premiere season, which greatly benefited his character. If he can work on his volume while maintaining his current symmetry, he will be a very interesting fighter.

Fourth place went to a lifetime of racing for Eddie Bracamontes.
