Arnold Schwarzenegger's tips on how to achieve your goals!
Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of bodybuilding's greatest legends. During his career he managed to win several professional titles including those of Mr. Olympia. However, along the way, he also had to face many opponents who threw sticks under his feet. Despite this, Arnold has managed to achieve most of his dreams in his life, something that only a handful of people manage to do.
And it is in this article that we look at the life advice Arnold wrote in his last newsletter. Schwarzenegger pointed out the need to take life into your own hands. Everyone has some talent that will help them achieve their desired goal, it's just a matter of realizing what it is and taking advantage of it. It doesn't matter if others believe in you, what matters is that you believe!
"I want to tell you the story of Dick Fosbury, an engineer who once broke his arm trying to jump over a chair and then won an Olympic gold medal in the high jump. He was probably the least athletic guy, but he used what he knew, which was engineering, to find a way to beat the competition. He learned that if he arched his back and jumped over the bar a certain way, he wouldn't touch it. This became known as the Fosbury Flop and is used by every high jumper today. Think about that the next time someone tells you you're not good enough. There is always a way to make the most of what we have." Schwarzenegger wrote.
Dick Fosbury pioneered the so-called "flop" high jump.

"The key, as always, is to not listen to the naysayers and fight for your dreams. If we all listened to everyone who told us no, we'd never get out of bed and our greatest accomplishment would be finding a new show on Netflix. It only takes one small victory to put us on the path to success, as I talked about in my last newsletter. Don't wait for the big thing, or you might be waiting forever...
"Fosbury could have been finished when he broke his arm jumping over a chair, but he became an Olympic gold medalist. Tyson Fury could have kept drinking and feeling sorry for himself, but he went back to training and became one of the greatest heavyweight champions of all time. If any of you are struggling to find your passion in life, look to him for inspiration. Even in the darkest points, there is always light at the end of the tunnel." wrote Schwarzenegger
Tyson Fury managed to overcome his laziness and drunkenness

Arnold Schwarzenegger is definitely a person to watch and take in if we need a little motivation. Originally from Austria, Arnold went on to become one of bodybuilding's most dominant figures, a world-famous movie star and the Governor of California in his lifetime. And it was also on his path to fame that Schwarzenegger had to overcome many uncomfortable situations that many considered crazy and strange.
